Tex is a singer, songwriter and music producer from London, in the UK. However; for the last 10 years he put music on hold to become a Software Developer. He started learning and studying A.I. in order to find a solution to the pittance music creators were being paid by streaming services like Spotify and even YouTube!
The Problem
With Current Streaming Services
After nearly 16 to 17 years of Spotify disrespecting music creators by severely underpaying them, the vast majority of artists and music creators have now given up on ever even earning the minimum wage from streaming, never mind earning a full-time living from it. Despite more than 99% of music creators being unable to earn minimum wage from streaming, the major labels have never had it so good, as they make TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EACH YEAR FROM STREAMING.
Although Spotify created this gross and unfair streaming business model, they could not have gotten away with paying music creators a pittance, without the permission, full consent, and blessings of UNIVERSAL MUSIC, WARNER MUSIC AND SONY MUSIC. Tex believes that these 3 companies have conspired and colluded with Spotify to swindle and cheat music creators out of BILLIONS of dollars. This was all put in place as far back as 2006 (2 years before Spotify launched in 2008). In 2024 while over 99% of artists cannot sustain themselves from their streaming income, MAJOR LABELS ARE MAKING THREE MILLION DOLLARS PER HOUR THANKS TO STREAMING!
Today more and more music creators are going the “Direct-To-Consumer” route, using their website or a service like Bandcamp. Either one allows artists to sell their CDs, vinyl records, digital downloads, merchandise and concert tickets DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER. However; websites and Bandcamp do not address the fact that 84% of music fans consume their music via streaming services.
While services such as Patreon allow creators to set up subscriptions, this is only to support individual creators or businesses. Paying 10 X $5 subscriptions for 10 of your favorite artists = $50/month. This is not the answer, because the vast majority of music fans just cannot afford $50 to $100 a month to support 10 to 20 of their favorite artists. This also does not address the fact that visiting multiple websites to buy CDs, vinyls & downloads is a step BACKWARD when we need to be moving forward and staying at the cutting edge of technology!

Let's Model On The Major Label "Music Groups" Strategy
Direct 2 Consumer 4 Streaming is a new system and new streaming business model whereby independent music creators will partner in small groups of 12. These are called “Partnerships”. This concept is similar to how major record labels and big independent labels have PARTNERED together to form music groups. I’m talking about the “Universal Music Group”, the “Warner Music Group” and the “Sony Music Group”.
Let us take Universal Music as an example. Universal Music is not a “major label”, they are a “major music group” made up of major labels. The Universal Music Group is made up of the following labels…...Capital, Def Jam, EMI, Virgin, Deca, Interscope, Island, Motown, Bravado, A&M, Polydor etc, etc. Each of these major labels is a multi-million dollar business in their own right. The Sony Music Group is made up of the following labels……Columbia, Arista, RCA, Epic, The Orchard, Provident, Legacy, CBS, Sony, Jive etc, etc. Within all music groups, the major record labels and big independents are each working for themselves, but NOT by themselves. It’s time to stop competing amongst ourselves as Independents (For fractions of cents) and MODEL THIS STRATEGY. We’re not going to reinvent the wheel. All we’re going to do is duplicate and replicate what these 3 successful major music groups are already doing in terms of PARTNERSHIPS.
These partnerships enables Spotify to pay the 3 music groups 70% ($7) per $10 subscription and keep 30% ($3) for themselves. The majors then split the 70% (The $7 per subscription) between themselves, based on the market share of each major label music group. We’re going to model this strategy. Each artist must decide on the group of 12 artists they want to partner with. Our innovative software + A I technology then does all the heavy lifting behind the scenes, by creating a mini streaming service for the group. The key here is ONLY PARTNER WITH ARTISTS WHO “MAKE GOOD TO GREAT MUSIC”, and remember that each Music Creator Partnership is genre-specific.
We now need a unique selling proposition because launching another streaming service with the same content as all the other streaming services makes no sense.
